Loxin, welcome to the apisto forum. I see 2 different fish - and 2 different species. The top fish (no spots on caudal fin) is A. sp. Papagei/Parrot. The 2 bottom photos (fish with spots on the caudal fin) appear to be A. sp. Pebas. Do you have photos of the females?
Thank you mike, the bottom photo of the fish is mixed in Peru exports agassizii, the only one, I refer to your identification method, is looking at "apisto.sites.no", its dorsal fin and anal fin is extended, I think it is curzi-Subcomplex .
There isn't much difference between the cruzi- and Pebas-subcomplexes. In truth these and the eunotus-subcomplex are all genetically close (eunotus-complex). If the fish that I think is A. sp. Pebas showed only fright/submission colors, I would expect that it would show a double caudal patch instead. This is the reason I asked about females, because female colors don't hide the dark markings as much.
