I obtained Levacide from the vet to get rid of this infestation. Levacide contains 7.5% Levamisole hydrochloride. Dosage was 1ml for every 5l. One time treatment very effective.
There's a fair amount on the web about this parasite and the treatment.

cdawson said:did it cause the cammalanus worms or is this a side effect from too much worms? I've got an angel female that has this REALLY bad, I cannot find ANY levamisole hydrochloride at ALL. If I don't find some soon I will lose the pair, she's starting to hemmorage. I don't want to euthanize, if I can save her that's all that matters. I don't care if she can't breed anymore, I just want save the pair.

Oupsy said:It s weird because levamisole is used for sheeps, porks and poultry treatment and in France you find it in any drugstore.
I bought 1 liter for 16€ (probably 20$); and i got 950ml left and it expires next month.
Wished i could send you some.
