My first apisto's are shipping out this coming Tuesday. Picked up 4 (2 pair) of Ortegai from ApistoDave. Really excited to get started keeping apisto's ever since i got into the aquarium hobby.

I have a heavily planted 55g tank. currently zero stock in it (other than 2 nerites and 2 assasins to help with algae and pond snails). i was planning on letting the apisto's acclimate and then getting 20 or so Nannostomus trifasciatus as dithers.

Welcome to the forum and to apisto keeping! Your gonna love apistos, just start stocking up on spare tanks now! You'll need them because your about to get m.a.t.s.... that's multiple apisto tanks syndrome! There's no known cure!!!
