How MADAGASCAR RAINBOWS could fit in a 29 gal. with 1 or 2 pairs of dwarf cichlids (rams or kribs) and 1-2 pairs of Paradise fish?

P.S.,
Dose anyone know a place (Maryland/Virginia/online) to get A. Panduro?

Hi all,
You would need to keep at least 5 and more females than males. They aren't really a suitable tank mate for any of the other species you have mentioned. Why don't you just keep them on their own? they are very interesting fish, but large, they like a lot of flow and relatively cool, hard water, in fact totally the opposite of Rams.

The same with Paradise fish, they are better kept on their own in a species tank.

cheers Darrel

I agree... Bedotia are efficient fry predators (though they rarely eat their own fry), get large and like water conditions different than most apistos. If a 'bow is something you want to pair with apistos, I would look at Ps. gertrudae or I. werneri.
