I've always had aquariums around me growing up as my Grandad has kept fish since the 70's. He inspired me to get into fish keeping and gave me my first tank when I was 12. I left the hobby for a few years for various reasons but started a new South American community set up last year. I've become obsessed with apistos lately and I'm hoping to set up a few tanks this summer and concentrate on them.I have a male cacatuioides in the community set up and have kept agassizi and rams in the past. I've found the forum to be a great source of information so far!
