Ok I am getting some of these bad bays around 2 or 3 inches in size I am getting around 6 supposely 4 females and 2 male. My questions is should I put one male and one female in a tank each and put the remaining four in my 180 or should I just put them all in the 180

At 2-3 inches I am not sure how the person you are getting them from is accurately sexing them. If there are a lot of other fish in the 180 to dilute their aggression, I would toss all 6 in there. If they are going into tanks with no other fish, I would split them up. If you can tell the males from the females... separate the males and give each a couple females. Spread hiding places are far apart from each other in the tanks as possible. A few floating ZooMed logs in each tank will provide refuge for any fish that get really beat up, and make it easier to catch them to go into a hospital tank.
