Hi guys,
Im housing a group of A.uaupesi variants. 1 male 4 females in a 50G tank ( 1 female got beaten up quite badly so its down to 3 now ) Lately ive been observing some breeding behaviour exhibited by the females like spending most of their time in a cave, digging etc.
I observed that there seems to be a dominant female guarding a boundary and the other ripe female's cave. When the male fish comes close, both these female fishes seem to go at the dude, forcing him to back away. Is this normal?
