Hi there,

Certainly not A. eremnopyge, I can see where the suggestion of A. bitaeniata comes from but the thickness of the lateral band seems excessive (and even at this size I would expect to see a seperation between the main and lower dark bands??

I am sorry but the breeder has confirmed that the fish your received are really Apistogramma bitaeniata, not eremnopyge.
