I recently purchased these two Apistogrammas, which were sold to me as a pair of Apistogramma pandurini. However, I'm not entirely sure if they are correctly identified or if I actually have a male and female. I've attached a video showing both fish for reference.
My original intention was to eventually breed them, but so far, the suspected male doesn't seem particularly interested in the other fish and has been showing some aggression.
I've only had them for about five days, so I understand they may still need time to settle into their new environment. For now, I've separated them to prevent further aggression, reduce stress on the suspected female, and allow her to recover and put on some weight before attempting to introduce them again.
