it is definitely not a tucurui.
it looks like Datz' South American Dwarf Cichlids' A41
- "A. sp. Parati" ....

I agree. It is not A. tucurui. Your photos do not show enough dark markings for a precise identification. Photos of the females will be helpful. Based on what I see now, your fish could be A. sp. Araguaia (A-22).
