I have read that borelli grow slowly and I have found this to be true compared to panduro. Can the same be said fr bitaeniata and agasizzi? They seem to be taking forever to grow.

Growth rate seems to be species-dependent, if all other factors are optimal for the species. I was surprised at how fast fry of A. paulmuelleri grew. I once thought that, as a general rule, that blackwater apistos grew faster but I can't say this is true anymore. As for A. agassizii and A. bitaeniata, I'd say their growth rate is about average - at least 5 - 6 month before one sees males sexing out. Separating females from immature males normally takes more time.
