The color develops as they mature, how old/large is your fish?

Not really what I'd call a dwarf cichlid! ;-) I've seen them nicely colored at 5-6"/12-15cm.

I don't know Mike.... compared to an Amphi. citrinellum, and green terror is small!
My male green terrors (many years ago now) always looked their best once they were over 6", and if they were the dominant fish in the tank.

My Green Terrors are about 2.5" now
