Apistos for sale/Glaser incoming

Hello everyone, I will be getting the following species in on Friday. I did my best to get some of the harder to find wild species.
Apistogramma Juruensis wild
Apistogramma Santarem wild
Apistogramma Biteaniata orange wild
Apistogramma Nijsseni tank raised and paired
Apistogramma Wilhelmi tank raised and paired
Hypancistrus Debilittera L-129 wild
Planiloricaria Cryptadon
Pseudohemiondon Apithanus

This month I am selling unsexed groups of 6 for the following species
Pebas Putumayo
Hoignei
Viejita Rio Meta
Baenschi
Also this month is Cacatuoides bargan month Buy one pair and get either
2 extra females or another pair free
I have white gold fry unsexed in groups of 6
A great wild trio that are proven spawners
A parent pair of white gold non showing Cacatuoides

I have a bunch of Barlowi males that are grown. I have also had two spawns this month and as soon as the fry are sexable they will be back on the list.

Well, I love apistos already. I have a pair of Cacatuoides that are very small. So I am very interested in another pair of apistos for my next set up. Otherwise, I will just do the buy a pair get a couple back..

So, how much do these cost...

Glaser is in and put away. All of the fish look really good. Highlights would be Juruensis. Better than I expected.

Hi Chris,
I use Glasers on a monthly basis and import Apistos into the UK via work. We have ordered Juruensis on many many occasions and have never been sent the true Juruensis.
Generally Blackchin and often even Cacs....
Would it be possible to post a pic of the Juruensis and if they are true then they will be ordered next week and then we might finally get some in the UK.

We have had many dissappointments ordering Apistos through Glasers(wrong fish sent)but also some cracking
For instance...
They had A sp Xingu on one of their most recent lists that turned out to be really nice colourful A sp Parati(A41)...
and some A meinkeini that turned out to be cracking A sp Erdfresser.
It is well worth the risk and we still use Glasers every month.

You have to take the good with the bad...
Good luck with them all, Its great to see independents taking the risk and importing.....

Yes Chris, Cracking is a term used in the UK for Very Good or Excellent.
You are quite correct... Much better IDs from Glasers than from many SA exporters.

If anyone wants true A. juruensis, then don't buy them from Peru, only from Brazil. I know the major supplier of Glaser's Peruvian fish. He knows that his fish aren't the true A. juruensis, but it is the name used in the the trade so he still uses it. Sigh. Old habits die hard.

The same as Peruvian 'Altum" angels. A good selling name & name that will pass import restrictions are far more important than any accuracy in identification.

What i find a little frustrating is the fact that a quality importer for the wholesale trade cannot put a correct ID on these fish with the wealth of knowledge that must be available to them.
When you purchase regularly and are getting fish that are often mis-identified it can get rather frustrating and also rather costly in some cases.
