... and for at least 1 German exporter, being cheated out of money for fish shipped to a large US importer. They vowed never to do business in the US again. That was 20+ years ago and still seems to be their policy.
In my opinion as a hobbyist based in Singapore, these German apistogramma are nothing fanciful.
And seriously, over these few years the apistogramma keeping community are getting smaller and smaller.
Even if the local exporter do bring in any apistogramma, they are always the by the way items. And the species are usually the common main-stream species. really nothing fanciful.
In my personal opinions, Wild Caught are what i will personally go after.
