hello guys, im new to this forum and new to dwarf cichlids. a few months ago i decided to start a project called "complete ecosystem" project.
its the concept of implementing different things for nature such as plants, deep sand bed etc into an aquarium to see if it can self sustain itself with minimal human interaction.
i wanted my 30 gallon tank to be an amazon fish only so right now i have:
1 male blue ram (had to give away the female as he was too aggressive)
13 ember tetra
6 Otocinclus Vittatus
i had the ram in a quarantine tank for a while because when i bought him he had ich but with high temperature and a bit of salt he is now healthy and strong.
i was wondering if i should/could get 8 pygmy hatchets to fill in the top section of the tank. also should i get another female or should i leave him alone.
