Hi All,
Could you please help me.
My two Orange Flash Cacatuoides females do not look like they used to..., i.e. they are not yellow anymore for more than 3 months and look like males - very bright with long red spine and dorsal fins and tale. My male died, I guess it was due to his age, he was more than 3 years old. However females are younger, I think they are about 2 years old.
I located a new male (~1 year old) in a adjacent tank, so the biggest female can see him, but she has not changed her colours and look like him
. She is not aggressive to him neither excited. Questions are:
1. If females look like males and not yellow anymore, are they still able to breed?
2. If so, should I move a new male to the female's tank?
Thanking you in advance for any help.
