Laetacara generally are good parents and don't eat their fry unless they want to breed again and can't drive the older fry from their territory. I must say that I'm surprised that your dwarf acaras are even trying to eat guppy fry. This is an atypical feeding behavior for this genus. I guess encouraging fry predation could lead to the fish to consider their own fry as food.

i am just trying to talk in general (lets say feeding baby jewels or baby angels to other spices like adults apistos or severum)
