I have, over the past 2 years, been regularly breeding Apistos and Microgeophagus species and rearing the fry on both microworm and bbs.
No dry foods are used until the fry are approx 6-8 weeks.
I now have to go away for 5 days and have nobody who can step in and feed
2-3 times a day in my absence.
What is the best and most effective way to feed these very young fry during
my absence?
If i overfeed microworm prior to leaving will this suffice or will it cause water quality problems?
How long will microworm survive in water?
Some of the fry are in bare tanks only furnished with Java moss whilst others
are in furnished breeding tanks with plenty of bacteria present for them to browse upon.
Will fry browse upon foods such as pleco wafers etc?
There are 16 tanks so automatic food feeders are not an option.
Thanks,
Mark.
