Got these beauties in the other day. I've never kept them so I cannot tell the differences between the one male and two females of the trio I was sent. So I need help on this one. Thanks in advance
Fish #1 - This is the largest specimen of the three. Fish is about 1.5+inches. Male or female? Does not show any blue and red markings that would indicate male, but perhaps those colors have yet to develop?
Perhaps some of the reddish marking developing on snout?
Fishes #2 & #3 - The photos below are of the two other fish in different moods and light angles. These are a bit smaller, less stocky and have slightly shorter fins than the first fish, yet the fins look really colorful. At first I thought all these were males because of how colorful they were. Do female Winkelflecks get this colorful? Or are they immature males?
Any difference between these M/F?
