Hello all!
I am seeking some help or at least an idea of what is going on with my E. lucanusi. The following "issue" only affects the males of which I had 3. They were housed in a 40g breeder tank, pH 6.4, weekly 50% water changes, fed various live foods, temp 74F, and they each had a mate-the fish were wild caught. Once they began to spawn, the males developed "lock jaw" of sorts. I lost two males quickly from this. The remaining male I just destroyed-he developed a growth, goiter type under the jaw. When I moved him to a new tank, I flipped him upside down to find the throat completely gone. Anyone have any idea what this is or what it is from? Appreciate any ideas! Thanks Regina
