Dwarf Cichlids in Senegal/The Gambia?

I have a friend who is from The Gambia and was wondering if there are any DCs that he might be able to bring back with him the next time he goes . I haven't been able to put an order in for the Lamboj book yet, but will do so soon. Can anybody help me out here?

I will look through the book. I do not remember those locations being mentioned though. Is there an exporter there your friend can visit to pick fish out?

I don't know as yet. If there isn't, he may be able to find someone to collect them or whatever. The first thing is to find out whether there is anything worthwhile there.

The only dwarf cichlids with potentai to be there might be a C. guntheri or P. humilis of some sort. The Niger River system seems to be the northwestern boundary for most of the dwarf genera. The Sengal River system is not mentioned.
