I picked up this small book from a bookshop last year. It's a good little inspirational book that got me more interested in DC's. My copy was last published in 1979 so naturally it's a little out of date for some species data/taxonomy but the basic breeding accounts sound very interersting to me. Also some good images throughout the book.

You have the original English edition, which is much better the the inflated second edition. The original was published in Germany in 1977.

Glad you've heard of it because I do like it, even though it's a bit small. I always thought it was a good chance purchase. got it whilst camping near a small market town fond memories of that trip. It does say publised in 77 translated in 79.
