These would be in a 90G tank with a few angels, plastic plants and wood and rock work.

I have a pair each of Macmasteri and Hongsloi. I can say the hongsloi are one of the prettiest Apistos in my fishroom. The male is always colored up and moves freely about the tank. My Macmasteri arnt colored up as often, but so far they have spawned and the Hongsloi have not. Though not for lack of trying on the males part. I keep my apistos in well planted tanks with driftwood and a cave or 2 of some sort, usually a half coconut shell with a hole drilled in it.
