This is A. sp. Miuá. This is a challenging species that requires extremely soft water and a pH < 4(!) to get them to successfully breed. I got my fish right here from Neil.
I got some from Germany some 2 yrs ago. They were very aggresive towards each other. I kept them with A. macmasteri and A. sp, "Mamore", which were not harrased.
Within their species they chased each other to death until 1 out of 5 was left.
I am still not sure what sex ratio I had, they were all quite big with similar fins, only 2 were more colouful than the rest.
