Hello all,
I just got back from the Catfish Convention in Virginia (with a whole bunch of dwarf cichlids, hah).
I have 5 1" dicrossus, probably filamentosa, wild stock, that I bought over the weekend. They were doing great straight out of the bag, looking for little things to nibble on in the tank.
The only thing I'm concerned with is the fact that two of the five fish are clamping their tail, which is also sort of whitish.
I havn't treated fish for anything external in years, so I'm not sure what to do about it. Will they tiolerate salt?
I have the 5 1" fish in a cycled 10g with 2 1" L333s. The water is almost pure r/o, pH about 6 with very little dissolved mineral content. Temperature is 82F.
I've never kept membersof this genus before so I don't know what their tolerance is for medications etc.
Thanks in advance,
Jess Bullock
