Hi.
I just want to ask a question.
I have two pairs of Dicrossus filamentosa, one of them has already spawned twice.

Right know i see that the other pair is making some display too, and for my surprise i found that the dominant female has right now some pale-blue iridiscences in the dorsal fin and gills.

This was not observed before, so i was wondering if it could be a demonstration of dominance ...has anybody seen that before???

thanks.

Sexual differentiation

Now i see that the female has the typical male lyric shape of the caudal fin (although it continues with the red ventral fins).

The thing i can´t understand is that i already have two males in that setup. It could be a "senescence" change? That female has already been with me for a year. It always happen in their life cycle?

Thanks
