Denver area Apistos?

Well I think I'm hooked. However, in searching 6 different fish stores today, I came home with exactly 1 Apisto! (macmasterii, i think). I have an empty 20 gallon and a nearly empty 55 gallon to fill still...

Anyone have information of available fish in the Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins areas? I'm willing to drive a ways, but if I can't find any I may try ordering a few from the fishstore on this site.

Speaking of which, I found the pricelists, but not the ordering instructions and shipping costs. As a grad student though, I may have trouble meeting the minimum $70 order, with shipping on top of that.

Anyway, thanks for the help!

You might try having a look at the Rocky Mountain Cichlid Association website at http://www.liss.olm.net/rmca/. There is a list of officers with contact information. Surely any one of them should be able to assist you in your apisto quest.

This club services the Denver area and will be hosting the annual American Cichlid Association (ACA) convention in 2004.
