Other than new names for recently described species, the ID are fairly accurate. Of course the author played it safe by using 'cf.' for many populations that are probably the same species as other populations. This, of course, is only my opinion. Others may have a different opinion.
You can changen the common names with the new scientific names for species in the book, but many, many new forms/species - both scientifically described and undescribed - have been discovered since 2005.
