I had a chat with Roy "seattleaquarist" and he had sent me a couple pics from your recent talk and the Mac he had shows yellow and this was does not

Color is not a diagnostic feature in most apistos. Besides, there are many different color morphs of A. macmasteri, both in the wild and domestic strains.

Well at least I know for sure what he is, and I have another male of the same. I need to find some females for them is the next step. Thanks for the replies
