Chromidotilapia melaniae and Hem. frempongi

I have juvinile C. melaniae available. This is a very rare westie from Gabon in the US hobby. I think I may be the only person breeding it right now. It is very cool. Males get decent size and are a rich brown with scalloped edges to the scales and some red in the fins. Females, like all Chromidotilapia, have a lot of iridescence in the dorsal and red edges to the fins as well. These are more aggressive than C. guentheri and need some space. I keep an adult trio in a 40Br with lots of wood and a group of large rainbows.

Price for 6 is $100 including overnight shipping.

I also have fry of Hemichromis frempongi. This is a very pretty 5-spot jewel. It is also very mean. I was not able to establish a pair until my third attempt. I started with 18 fry and grew them out is a wood-filled 40Br. Nine months later I have this pair. I will send 20+ fry to ensure you have plenty so when they kill each other off you can (maybe) end up with two.

Here's to hoping you have some stuff when I am ready. We close on a new home 10/22, and I will be building a fishroom. i have been reading the challenge article each month. Was wondering if you might have some hillstream loaches available in the near future?

I thought I bump this up. I got me a group of six melaniae from Ted. These fish are great and I can only recommend them to any Westie enthusiast.

The C. melaniae are all taken. I have a few I am growing out and the big male had free swimming fry yesterday... but I do not see them today...
