Chequerboard cichlid tank

Here's my 54l tank
Inhabitants:
7 checkerboard cichlid(dicrossus filamentosus? )
6 boraras maculatus (on their way out)
5 otocinclus
a bunch of red cherry shrimp and trumpet snail to eat excess food

pH 6.8
GH 0
KH 0-6

nh 0

how can i reduce the pH? i was thinking of maybe adding coconut husk (terrarium substrate)

Holy cow ...thats a lot of fish in that small tank :O

Temporary housing they are all under 4 cm. Waiting for a 120 liter tank to cycle

this tank is intended to house a pair of dwarfs either way so i still need to figure the pH out
