He was sold to me as Vejita II as was the female.

These two have spawned successfully - I have another female who hates him though and has been banished to another tank until I can try and pair her up with another. Trouble is, I can't be too sure whether she's one or the other due to colouration. She's in a hospital tank atm, due to loosing almost all her tank mates last week, she's doing well, but her tail is a mess

"Viejita II" is just a domestically enhanced strain of A. macmasteri. That being said, to me your pair look more like Rotrücken/Red-neck/Red-sholder Macs, as abrooks wrote.
