Hi everyone im trying to determine the sex and id of this apisto im hoping its a female macmasteri, i currently have it in a 10g with the following male mac?

Unknown sex and ID

It's a domestic strain of A. hongsloi. My guess is that it is a male, but the photo isn't really good enough to be certain. How big is it?

The fish is roughly between 2" & 3". And the male mac really goes for it when he see it, flaring and shooting at it really fast and quite aggressivly
