Breeding tank size?

Can anyone tell me if A trio of Agassizi's will spawn in a 20 gallon tank, regular dimentions, or is that to small? They keep breeding in my 90 community, but the fry get eaten by some killi's i have. Anyway someones advice would be good. The internet says 25g should be used or bigger, but I know that isn't aways correct.

Should be all right, as long as you have lots of structure, dead leaves, plants and caves, to break up line of sight.

I've never got along very well with 1 male and 2 females, one of the females tends to be bullied. One male and 3 or more females works quite well for most harem breeders, I've never kept A. agassizii as a pair, although other people have been successful with pairs.

Here's my 60 litre kitchen tank with my cacatuoides in, some dithers, and about 7f and 1 male, I still get lots of fry growing to adulthood in here:
