I got a pair of young Yellowhead Borellii a few weeks ago and within two weeks 6 Fry appeared from one of the pots.
I left the parents in the tank, the female chased the male if he came near her and the fry, but he was fine if he stayed his distance.
The tank has a sponge filter, they were getting a 10% daily water change and baby brine shrinp (twice) daily.
The fry were tiny, but after 4 days of following the female, they have gone.
Now a day later, the female has eggs again, as she is in the pot all the time again and only comes out for food, then its straight back in the pot.
I think it was the female that ate the fry, as the male never got near them, why would she do this and lay eggs again, so soon ?
