Hey Ted, great article in BB #252 on natural biotope of Pv. pulchra Ndonga! Makes me feel like I should be doing something like it. I'm finishing up 4 papers - about 60 pages worth - on various aspects of apisto id, history, & phylogeny. My guess is that all are too long to get published anywhere. :frown:

60 pages for four articles is a lot. If you are looking to publish in the popular press the secret is brevity and focus of topic. My trip to Cameroon will generate about 6 articles that will (hopefully) appear in various places.

Mike, I'm the editor of the British Cichlid Associations (www.britishcichlid.com) journal 'Cichlidae', if you're happy for articles to be serialised I'd certainly be interested in publishing them....

How many readers do you need for a publication? Is ONE enough?
Then you can publish it on my hard disk... just for me! ;-)

Otherwise you could (should?) write some more pages and make a book from it.
But then make sure, that it will be translated into german! ;-)

best regards,
Rolo
