Are Hyphessobrycon Notidanos (red devil tetra - one of several species with that name) 'fry' predators

I'm being provided a small school of these and trying to decide if i want to place them with the wolli or one of the non-breeding tank. From the description i've read it is not clear to me if will stay near the top or become more predatory if the female has frys. When they were first offered i was thinking of ember tetra with a bit more motion but they are a bit larger than ember and i can't find a lot of nitty gritty detail on behavior. Not sure if anyone here has experience with them (btw i've kept ember with breeding a. pucallpaensis without issue).

Simply stick to the rule: If it's a tetra reaching over 4cm on average they will likely eat fry if they get the chance.
