I am looking for just about any kind of apisto. I have been to all the lfs and it is to the point where they don't have anything that I don't already. I would love to find a pair of the cacatuoides "Yellow/Gold" that is in the gallery at apistogramma.com. Any help would be appreciated.

findawg33,

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

There are a number of very good Dwarf keepers in your area. Many are on this forum. Hopefully you will get some good leads on apistos soon. If not, I do have the fish that you are asking about available. I just haven't done an update on the list lately  . However, you will have to wait until your weather is a little better than 100 below zero 8O :D . Aren't you guys going through a terrible cold spell now?
Stay warm,
Neil

thanks Neil, yeah I know you can't ship up here right now. Way too cold. I am in college up here and just walking to classes is enough to freeze you. And actually I am interested in more than just the cacatuoides "Yellow/Gold". Like I said I am open to just about anything. I am just tired of finding double red cacatuoides for $30. I have panduros, aggies, and double reds. Just about anything else I would at least consider. I know that the Minnesota aquarium society has their auction coming up soon, but the last two times I went there were no apistos at all. Anyway, thanks. Hopefully I don't freeze on my way to my next class this afternoon.

findawg33,

I'm also here in River Falls WI & looking for a little more variety in my apistos. Let me know if you are contemplating an order when the weather warms up & we can consolidate & save on shipping.

I've currently got tons of aggie double red fry of various sizes, but it sounds like you're OK there.

Hey mak, that sounds good to me. I really wish it would warm up right now so I could get some new apistos. I went to the Minnesota Aquarium Society's show last weekend and picked up some trifasciata's. I got six young ones and as soon as I put them in my tank two of the females turned yellow for me. So far I can only tell of one male. Hopefully they do something soon. I wouldn't mind some fry. It's cool you have some double red aggies, but yeah I have had my fair share of them too in the past couple years. Let me know how you wanna work things out and I can give you my email address or something and we can figure things out that way. [email protected]
