apistos and companions

Hi.

I have a trio of apistos baenschis in a 28 gallons, pH 6, soft water.
Females are ready to spawn : they both are yellow and black, and the male is beautiful too... bu they don't spamn

In this tank there are 15 Paracheirodon innesi too. Is it possible baenshis to be stressed enough by the other fish, and so don't want to spawn ?

Fish seems to be ready, water qulity is ok, I don't know why they don't spawn

neon tetra should not prevent apistos from breeding, but will probably prevent them from raising the fry (by eating it).
you may try to simulate "Amazon seasons" by first feeding less and decrease water changes and then exchange a lot and feed live food in plenty. I saw a great article on how to help the fish by simulating season changes. was it on Z-man's site?
