On this occasion Apistogramma sp. Kelleri, a relatively new addition to the UK hobby.
Picked them up back in September and the pair obliged with some nice portrait shots;
Fast forward to today and the male has now fully coloured up and sporting a nice lyreate tail and some pretty impresive extensions to the dorsal fin!
Then every now and again you get lucky with the camera (a lot of swearing at the batteries in the flash gun though as they were on their last legs...), bear in mind that this is a mouth brooding species, just look at the size of that mouth!!! I've also added a close up to give you a better look at the gill arches inside the mouth!
