Apistogramma macmasteri & Rio Meta biotope

Dear reader,

I'm trying to get as much biotope information about A. macmasteri and the Meta River as I can find. The intent is to set up a tank for this species + 1 or 2 suitable companion species, and also to write an article about the project.

Also included in the project is the process of live catching in the river and the proceedings and transports from there on to a pet shop in Europe.

Any and all information is of interest, as is location pictures from either Meta river (location) or the shipping process. For pictures a permit to publish is needed, but as this is a project on a hobby basis I'm not able to offer to pay for rights of use. Full credit in text will be given.

You need to talk to Alf Stalsberg who live near Larvik. He has collected in the Meta drainage.
