Sean, they're the correct form (A. cf. agassizii Net/Netz) so I would expect that they're from around Alenquer, Brazil. That's where most Netz forms are collected commercially.

Along with the Apistogramma cf. agassizii ("Pastell", Peru) I bought this week, I also bought a young trio of Apistogramma cf. agassizii ("Netz", Alenquer) to go in the tank next to my older pair of "Alenquer". Here is a photo of the new male displaying to one of the new females half an hour after they settled into thier tank.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
