The original Opal was a color strain developed in East Germany in the 1970s. It had super blue and, yes, green scales on the body. The face had many blue and red streaks. As far as I know, this strain is lost to the hobby. Now, Opal is now just a commercial name for the more colorful specimens of the species. Your fish (showing stress pattern) is colorful, but I'd expect to see more red on the face in a present day Opal.
