Apistogramma agassizii

Hi everyone

After spending a couple of months getting my water how I wanted it (with great thanks to Darrell) I managed to get my hands on some apistos yesterday. I rang around the local area to find someone that could supply me with a male and female pair. After a twenty mile round trip their stock didn't look very healthy at all, but as I had travelled there I gave it a shot and purchased a pair. Unfortunately the female didn't look great by the time I had got them home, and didn't last the night. However the male has settled in fine and ate some (alot of) red blood worms this morning so I'm guessing it's all good in the hood.

All that remains now is to try and find him a female. So if anyone knows anywhere I could in the Birmingham/ Black Country area let me know!

Hi all,
He looks like he has suffered a bit, but if he is eating and the water quality is good, he should perk up and the fins heal etc.

Apistogramma agassizii is a relatively easy to find Apisto in the UK, so you should be able to find a female. I can't help with a shop in the W. Midlands however.
