Apisto Veijita

Hello,

I am new to the hobby and to this forum and was hoping you seasoned veterans could help me out.

I stumbled upon a breed of Apisto called viejita "super red" (see pic below) while browsing the net trying to educate myself about the species. They are really beautiful and was wondering if anyone had any information on them in regards to where/if I can buy these.

Hi Damon and welcome!

I would check out some of the venders on this site. They all do regular orders and will post availability lists. You may have to exercise some patience but you will find what you're looking for. Being in the states you will have access to most fish through major orders.

In the meantime dig into some the knowledge on the site by searching the forum. Providing the right conditions for your fish means great fun watching breeding and rearing behaviours! Good luck!

Hi Damon, it is a smart fish, but have a look at the A. macmasteri/viejita naming threads on this forum.
