Hi again guys,

Few weeks ago I purchased a pair of Apisto Juruensis but I assume it isn't.

In my opinion what I had was Apisto sp. Black-Chin/Schwarzkinn and it

suppose to be a pair. I would like to know from experts out there

whether I've actually gotten:

a) Apisto sp Black-Chin/Schwarzhinn?

b) Is it a pair?

Thank you

I am sorry,

will try and get better pictures.

The problem is the fish room is a little bit dim.

It is difficult for me to get lighting into my camera, plus I do not own an external

flash yet.

But will take your advice and try getting a clearer picture.

Thank you.

Give us bigger photos, 800x600 should be fine. Those are to small.
But without bigger photos I can tell that on first photo you have male of A. sp. "Black-chin"- orange lips and nice developed fins.

The photos are a bit small (even after I enlarged them), but they do appear to be A. sp. Schwarzkinn/Black-chin. If the 'female' is over 35mm/1½" SL, then I would say that it's a pair.

Hi again guys,

Today I was about to take a picture of the pair and surprisingly I found eggs

in the cave.

The female is guarding them and I didnt expect spawning going to happen

in a relatively small tank (9" x 18" x 12").

It was sort of like a temporary for them and I took out the male so that

the female wont be so stressful.

Therefore, it is obvious that they are a confirm pair.

Thank you guys for helping me and giving me a lot information especially

Ruki and also Mike.

Currently I have a few spawn that I have to take care.

Will take pictures soon but for now I do not want to disturb the female.

Regards,

DeMolisheR

Great job. That's a great looking male.

Where did you get them, and where are you located so I can order some from you in the future? :)
