I have a pair of a.nijssenii, pair is now introduced to ich other in my new 180l tank, and my female has changed her color from extremly yellow with panda spots to pale unidentified ( ) color... water parameters are OK, and she is swimming with her male happily...
Male has the most beutifull colors... they both looks healthy!
Is this normal....?? and why my female has lost her breeding colors??
Also, is it possible that small males turn pale in color and they resamble to females like some malawi cichlids when they are not dominant males!?!?
I ask that, cuz my female trifasciata looks suspicios...
TIA, i really hope you have understood me... i know that my english sucks...
regards
