I received my Trio from Scott at http://www.amazontropicalfishllc.com/.

Great guy who was very helpful.

I removed most of the plants to make sure they are eating.

Fish are doing well. Male hides alot and chases females whenever he sees them. Females are not best buddies either.

I will add the plants so they feel more comfortable and can establish their territories.

It is hard to get a good pic of the elusive male, but here are a couple. Is this the "bleeding heart" variety?

Nice looking fish, Bill. The look like A. sp. Nanay/Melgar. I'm not really sure if they are the Bleeding Heart color form - or even if it's a distinct population, however. It might be more about what they are eating. I had some of the first Nanay in the US and also some of the first Bleeding Hearts. When fed mostly BBS they had about the same amount of red abdominal color.
