I have 2 a. bitaeniata in a 29 gallon tank with 4 panda cories and 6 neon tetras. Can anyone give me advice on how I can get them to breed?

What are some signs that they have layed eggs? I dont want to disturb the female by lifting up the cave she chose.

Turn off the lights, light a candle...

Sorry couldnt help myself. I hope to have some of these fish in future, but dont have any currently, so not sure what best course of action for them is. But sounds like the post before me should help alittle

She spends most of her time in the cave except for feeding and occasionally chasing off any cories or tetras that wander too near her cave. She is very yellow. I never noticed her chasing off the male, he even swam into the cave for a few seconds and he also sometimes patrols the outside of the cave and chases away any intruders.
If I do have eggs, how long until the fry should start coming out of the cave?

The fish maybe mating!! If eggs are present, it takes about 7 to 10 days for you to see free swimming fry :)

Today I noticed that she keeps going from one cave to the other and is now spending more of her time in the other cave than in the first one she chose.
