The fish are still young. It is almost impossible, based on the available photos. I have a "gut feeling" that it is a form from the lower Amazon (below the Rio Madeira), but I cannot say which it is.
Still young looking (rounded tail on male), but the pattern of dark markings on the body point to a form found in northern tributaries of the lower Amazon between Manaus & Óbidos. Koslowski called it A. agassizii Netz/Net form. If it is this form, then the males get large, massive body with long streamer-like tips on the dorsal & anal fins. The caudal fin can get a long tip, too.
